I worked with one of your realtors, Denny Mandell, recently. He managed to just barely get the job done, but is clearly out-of-date with customer service skills. He is absolutely inauthentic and appears to think this is not readily apparent to his customers. In the '70s this may have worked, but in today's market you should really attempt to feign you at least somewhat care for your clients and the major investments in housing they are making. I hope a new breed of aspired, hungry realtors comes through for you guys. I tolerated Denny's fakeness to meet my needs, but was not impressed.

We recently bought a home and after going through this process it's pretty clear that if you buy a home and the house is perfect and everything is as the seller presents you can buy it from anyone.
However, when there are serious hidden problems and everything that that could go wrong does you need someone that knows what to do and will fight for you without compromise. We used the Lessinger team to buy our home and things went wrong, I mean I could write a novel. The bathroom leak that was reported as "fixed" was found to be not fixed at all more than once. The roof which as not called out in the appraisal (still don't know why) was sagging leaking and missing shingles. This and a thousand other things were happening, but Robin (the person I mainly dealt with) was right on top of of it and addressed each problem and followed up. She gave us updates and was kind but persistent, she gave ideas and facts to approach each problem but never moved forward without our go ahead. I thought after we closed and they collected their money they may focus more on other clients and ignore us. That didn't happen at all, they have completely followed up and made it clear they will help us after purchase as well by finding repairmen for example. I think if you don't go with these people you are far more likely to face surprise bills after your real estate agent has collected their money and left, we certainly would have.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Candee C.San Francisco, CA02Apr 6, 2020
Brian and his entire team were so awesome to work with! He was great - friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, and his entire staff were fantastic. He kept the sale of my home moving right along, and he really knows his business. I hope you will consider working with Brian, you won't regret it.

Brian and Amy have been my Real Estate Brokers for years. They have helped me, my brother and several friends purchase and sell homes in the Reno/Sparks area. I would highly recommend them and their team for your real estate needs!
In addition to being honest, ethical and fantastic Real Estate Brokers, they have been an amazing resource. I recently had my A/C go out on one of my rental during the last heat wave. My tenant contacted another HVAC company in the area and they told him it would be $5K to replace my A/C unit. I told him that was ridiculous and asked him to get additional bids, nobody could come out for several days. I called Brian and Amy and they referred me to Jason at All Hours Air. Jason was able to get out there that same day to look at the A/C. Turns out it was the circuit board and total cost to repair was only $564! Not only was Jason responsive, but honest and ethical! He didn't try to gouge me on price, he took care of me and my tenant and I will use him from here on out for all of my HVAC needs.
If you are looking for honest, ethical and all around good people, contact Amy, Brian and Jason!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Gregory F.Denver, CO46405Sep 18, 2017
Very similar to comments made by Amy L who rated this company the same. Ellen Lessinger cannot be trusted and will absolutely tell you what-ever she thinks she can get away with and then screw you later out of your hard earned money. I treated the Lessinger Team with complete professionalism and honesty to which they responded with a complete lack of integrity, lies and more. Brian L - this has nothing to do with representing owners of properties you represent. This is about treating people as human beings, not taking advantage of people just because you can and a complete lack of honesty, professionalism and intregity. As I wasn't sure that I could trust Ms. Lessinger, I took several hundreds of pictures of before (when Ellen couldn't wait for us to arrive so did her own move in inspection) and several hundred more pictures after we vacated the property that clearly support your dishonesty. At the time of the original "walkthrough" we pointed out the very dirty carpet which Ellen acknowledged. We had it professionally cleaned in order to be able to move in and pointed out numerous other issues which Ms. Lessinger acknowledged. During her visit during showing new potential residents we reminded her of the issues we experienced which she stated that she recalled - then BAM!!! Now it's time for BBB, and whatever else we can do to warn people so that they don't get screwed too.
BEWARE FUTURE RENTERS!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Greg- we are sorry you were unhappy with the carpet cleaning charge on your security deposit return. The lease is very clear that you are required to have the carpet professionally cleaned at the time of the move out. We did send you both the bill from the cleaning of the carpet before you moved in (in January) and when you moved out to show you it was done professionally before you moved in. We followed the law and the lease when processing your security deposit and if you have any further questions or concerns we are happy to discuss them with you personally at any time. My husband and I have used the expertise of the Lessinger Team on two occasions. We contacted them about a piece of land that we owned and were looking to sell. They did not simply list the property and wait for someone to contact them. They actively sought buyers and within a matter of a few months, we made a successful transaction. The sale could not have been smoother. Then, we asked for their help in finding a new residence. Our agent, James, was an attentive listener who helped us sort out properties that would meet our needs. After driving many miles on the weekends to view properties, we found the perfect fit for us and the Lessinger Team made our dreams come true. The team responded to our numerous questions quickly and thoroughly. Each team member was knowledgable about our transaction and where we were in the process. We did not have to wait for anyone to return our call if he/she were not available. We could not have asked for a better experience while buying a home. We highly recommend the Lessinger Team!

I found the property management team lacking. Make sure what ever Ellen Lessenger says you have it in writing. She was all kindness in person but went back on what she said later. Not sure if it's old age and forgetfulness or dishonesty. Very disappointed in their service.

In Property Management, we represent the Owner of the Property and were directed by them to make the necessary repairs which is within the terms of the Lease Agreement. We work very hard to work with our tenants, which we did in this case. In the end, we had to do what we were directed to do by the owner and that was to make the necessary repairs to get the property ready for a new tenant. And yes, there was a bill that had to be paid and it did come out of your security deposit in accordance with both the law and the lease agreement.
