Luschar Company

I was referred to Luschar Plumbing through a builder here in the Lake Tahoe area, James Costalupes Construction.

Short of just gushing about how great both professional are. I will focus for now on how fantastic Luschar Plumbing and Heating is... Specifically, the technician professional Patrick Larkin and his pal and college Jimmy.

One word comes to mind: WOW! These guys are not just your routine plumber. These guys are proud perfectionist artists.

When I first met Patrick with Luschar Plumbing, we discussed a number of projects I would like to complete in my home. The main project because the winters here in Tahoe can be very tough and I was tired of slipping a falling in my drive way with there is both snow and ice.

Fortunately, the driveway was already pre-plumbed and their was a junction box ready to connect to a new boiler system. The first idea was to create the system in my garage and this was the most expensive not to mention the system would be huge and consume much space in my already unusually small garage. At the time, not knowing if there was an alternative I texted Patrick later and asked if he would stop by sometime to look at my existing boiler system that supplied both my hot water and operated my radiant floors.

Patrick came out and looked over the crawl space and the system and voila...he said, absolutely and this would save me a ton of money for the boiler itself and creating a new propane line and so forth.

Over the past couple of days, both Patrick and Jimmy came to the house and installed the system from my driveway and created a line from one side of the house to the other that spanned nearly - that's right - 100 feet from one side of the house to the other! They also had to create a system that used Glycol. This meant, that the system could not touch my existing water system. A completely new line that heated by an indirect system - a heat exchange type system. They made it work!

What is impressive is that now that the job is done, you'd never know they were ever here. They work impeccably well together and they are both obsessively clean and neat.

Oh yes, both Patrick and Jimmy took the time with me to create a label for every single pipe so that I know what it does and how to turn off specific aspects of the system in the event of an emergency or service need. They even taught me how to drain my system so that I can service the water heater area without needing to hire someone. That's darn kewl!

Patrick and Jimmy are friendly, fun, highly skilled and professional. I kinda miss hanging out with them. I truly appreciated how thoughtful and caring they both were towards my home, myself and just wanting to do the best job possible.

Thanks you Patrick and Jimmy for making my life safer when I walk out to my car! and thank you both for just being awesome!

Our apartment is an old building which meant copper pipes! *Screams
We got a clog in the worst place, the kitchen sink. So we thought a little draino and boiling water outta clear it up! (Untill it didnt) To our surprise, a huge mass of refuse and sludge exploded out of our washing machene drain outlet! (*Screams)
Now in comes Steve luschar, a quick phone call to the professionals at Luschar Plumbing says he will send a man as soon as possible. And quick as lightning a team member (Juan) caught us mid sentence with a knock. His nods and oh no's made it clear this was a disaster of a situation. However Juan made a nightmare of a situation look like a cake walk! The pipes were snaked, drained cleared and the day was saved quick! Huge thanks to the heroes working in the hazardous, covid 19 infested streets, to keep our drains flowing. Stay healthy guys!

I as referred by Bill from Ace Hardware in Incline Village, and I can't say enough about Patrick from Luschar. He came exactly when he said he would, diagnosed the issues and explained radiant heat to 2 neophytes ( my husband and I). The customer service was excellent, and we just sent him down to a neighbor with the same problem.
