We work side by side with them to assure that every step is handled appropriately and within your coverage specifications. No matter the cause of your property damage, we can quickly clean and restore everything back to its safe, pre-incident condition. Plus we can do so affordably because we offer value-priced bids without sacrificing quality. What we will do is do the job right, at a fair price, quickly and with the highest quality. We will also help you arrange any additional services for reconstruction or replacement that you may need.

You know, it's never a great day when you come home to three inches of water on your basement floor, a raining ceiling, and a window that's now doubling as a waterfall. In all the tumult, though, it's reassuring to call someone like Garrett at NV Water & Fire. He knows his stuff and exudes confidence from having seen it all but never in a way that's condescending or patronizing. He's professional through and through and answers calls and texts so rapidly that I wish he'd take more time off for himself.
The company also hires great people. Seth and Matt were quick in the takedown of our waterlogged basement, and best of all, they carefully excised my husband's homemade bookcases so that we can reinsert them. They were also polite and professional and obviously knew what they were doing. When they ran into a slight issue, they called Garrett to get the go-ahead, which we also appreciated.

Hired this company back in December 2022 to restore a flooded crawlspace. Ended up paying over $8,000. This company was inconsistent throughout the entire process, leaving the job for multiple days at a time with no communication, giving times and dates of when they would be back and then not showing up or calling. We had to reach out to them multiple times ourselves while going through this high stress situation. Upon final completion of the work, we paid on time to carry out our end of the agreement, however this company was careless and without consent cut through a foundation vent on our newly purchased home. They packed up and ended work without informing us of this damage in an attempt to decieve us. I spent 2 months calling the project manager at this company and was promised the vent would be fixed soon by a contracting company hired by this business. Not surprisingly, they never held up to this promise and the vent remained damaged. I asked to speak to the manager for help and and was connected to the owner, Andrew. I informed him of whats been happening at his company and even let him know how upset I was that im the one putting in all the work to reach them and no one is doing their job on that end to make sure were okay. He assured me he would handle it so I thanked him and let a few weeks pass. Three weeks later I call Andrew back to let him know that still no one has contacted us and told him im at my whits end. He then screamed at me for expressing any amount of frustration with his company. He laughed at me and told me we aren't the most important project they have at this time. He still promised to follow up with the contracting company and get the vent repaired. It's now been six months total of constant contact with this company on our end and we don't have a solution. Andrew offered a lousy $300 for a job that will cost well over $1,000. The owner Andrew refuses to do his job and follow up with his customers who's home was damaged at the hands of his employees. He expresses no amount of care or professionalism. We do not ever hear from him unless we make the attempt to find him first. Had we not paid them for the work until the vent was repaired, Im sure I would have a new vent by now but we were trying to be respectful and compliant customers. We are now suffering with our last half a year being wasted with tears and frustration and now have a massive repair to figure out after spending our entire savings on our unexpected home flood. We have children to care for, im pregnant, my mom just passed. Who does this to a family? This is the last thing I should have to worry about, a repair that was caused by THEM. Nevada Water and Fire does not care about their customers and is in cohort with the contracting company who also transacts business in the same way by not showing up for work or providing assistance.

They were great! I really appreciated the communication with them as well as their professionalism. They were able to come to my house shortly after I called for an estimate as well as after I called to have the work begin. I will certainly recommend you to anyone who asks if I know of a company to use for mold mitigation.

Garett knew what was going on and didn't waste any of my time. The quote was substantially lower than most of the surrounding companies and they did the job perfectly. If you do your homework and get multiple quotes you will see why I'm writing this review. Great work and reasonable pricing from these guys thanks for not trying to scam people out of thousands of dollars like most of the other similar companies in Reno. The Customer Service specialist Jessica was also very professional and helpful! All in all, I'm a happy customer!

This is the second time I needed clean up due to water damage in my home this year. Nevada Water & Fire Restoration is amazing. I was lucky enough that Mike and his crew handled the issues both times. He is timely, conscientious, polite and has always respected my property. I highly recommend this company, and if you have a chance to request Chris as the project manager along with Mike and his team you will be very pleased with the results! I couldn't be happier!

8/07/2020 -update to earlier review.
Unfortunately I can't take back anything I said in earlier review as was 100 % true as far as their employee that came out to my home but I am giving a higher rating due to the company acknowledging this was not best practice and apologizing for same with a nice card , written apology, and enclosed a Starbucks gift card. Nice gesture and have to give them credit where credit is due.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Aug 3, 2020Previous reviewAndrew from this company came out in response to my request for an estimate to clean up a small area of food and debris from a broken connection from my kitchen sink where it connected to my sewer line in the crawl space of my home. It was most likely from the garbage disposal. He came in with a face shield like I use to wear as a nurse over my mask but he had no mask underneath. He told me it was going to be 950. to clean up the spill without even going down in the crawl space to view it. That was the purpose of having him come out- to see what was involved. He absolutely refused to do that and gave me an attitude because I said I didn't know how he could throw a figure at me without seeing how big or small the job was. So I called 911 restoration and they sent out Andre' who went down and looked at the job and assured me it was a small job and he could clean it up for 250. Which he did.

They responded immediately to a water heater leak that flooded my bottom floor.
They stayed late in the evening removing water and setting up drying equipment.

Figured I had mold after a slow leak in roof & bubbling on kitchen ceiling. Nevada Water & Fire came out the next day, cut out the ceiling, found the dreaded mold & rectified situation within a few hours. Chris contacted appropriate people to complete job & left necessary equipment. Extremely professional, responsive, compassionate & knowledgeable. Very reasonable pricing. I highly recommend.

My mother in law went through a small fire shortly after my father in law passed away. Although it was a very difficult time and the process wasn't easy Nevada Water & Fire did their very best to take care of my mother-in-law. The owner himself even made himself available to her if she needed anything.
