Switch Electric is certainly the best electrician in greater Reno area. They are honest, hard working and professional. We worked with Switch Electric on two of our properties. One was 225Amp power panel upgrade with 3 Tesla charger outlets.

Joana get back to us promptly with quotes while other drag their feet just to provide a quote.

Dwayne is amazing. He's very professional, came on time and was being flexible on changing some of the job assignment.

They finish the job in no time. Would certainly refer businesses to switch electric.

A bedroom outlet was smoking during my nightly 3 am wakeup! I turned off all electricity, unplugged everything. the smoking stopped...i went back to sleep. Next morning i started calling elctricians....SWITCH got back to me in 30 minutes...the woman told me they would have someone out within the hour...and he arrived in less than an hour. Removed the smoked up outlet, rewired and put in a new outlet. I do not even remember what I was charged....I think $120....well worth it for the correction and the peace of mind. I will use them again in an instant if I need electric work done.

The lady on the phone was very pleasant and helpful. Our appointment was for Friday and they called and got us in on Thursday instead. The gentleman that showed up was very helpful and found the problem right away. He was all about saving us money so we didn't spend more than what was necessary.

We used Switch Electric to add an RV and welding appropriate outlet in our garage. They were quick to get back to us on a quote, did the job in a timely manner, and were professional and great to work with. When the electrician was running late (because of the weather) they called to let us know which is always appreciated.

I found these guys on yelp and needed 4 canned recess lights put in. They showed up on time and worked quickly. The lighting came out great!

The reason for 4 stars is because they did leave quite a mess. The guys working didn't use a drop cloth in the space and it was dumping snow outside, so when they walked in and out they brought the snow in with them. Then when they walk across all the fallen drywall from the cutouts it basically glued to my floors. And even though they vacuumed the area it did very little in cleaning the aftermath.

However, I did speak with Dwayne and Johanne and they did try to make things right. It is a simple fix and would save the home owners a great deal of cleanup with a drop cloth in the future.

Electrician was as good as their excellent ratings suggest. Pleasant surprise. Thank you!

Recently had work done by Switch Electric. Their employee, " Isaiah" is outstanding. Knows his craft very well. Was patient and thorough in answering all of our questions. Did a great job on installing sub panel with generator. I also spoke with the owners Joanna and Dwayne. Good people who strive for customer satisfaction and reasonable prices.

I used Switch to help with a breaker installation and get some advice on installing spa electrical. They were responsive and easy to work with.

Local company, which is always a bonus for me. From the first contact to site visit then proposal and finally installation of switch, everyone was prompt and pleasant. Their proposal was very fair, I checked around. The installer arrived exactly when I was told he would be here. Very professional and nice. The installation didn't take long at all. He set the timer and gave me instructions to change it as often as I want. No mess left! I can't recommend this company any more highly.

After a scheduled onsite visit for an estimate, was told to receive the quote in 3 business days. Estimate never came. Called on the 4th business day and said they are still working on it. A couple days later, still no quote. Call back again and left a message, received a phone call back and said quote isn't ready yet. A couple more days, sent a message on Thursday and was told quote will be ready by the weekend. No quote came, no response. I don't understand the lack of communication.

It's been over 3 weeks. The job was to replace an old main electrical panel on a house.
